I first received an email from my placement department regarding Hackwithinfy.
Round 1 focused on coding. In my slot, I encountered three coding questions: two medium and one easy. I successfully solved the two medium questions but was unable to solve the easy question. The round lasted three hours, was conducted on their own platform, and was proctored. After three weeks, I received an email from the placement department informing me that I had been selected for the second round, which was the interview.
The interview round was scheduled for May 15, 2024, at 2 PM at the Bengaluru Infosys campus. I arrived early, and my interview started at 12:30 PM and ended at 1:20 PM, lasting around 50 minutes. The interviewer asked me to explain the projects I had mentioned in my resume, spending about 10-15 minutes on this topic.
One of my projects was related to databases. The interviewer posed a question and asked me to write a query. There were actually two ways to write it; I managed to write one way but got stuck on the second. However, he provided hints that helped me formulate the second query.
Next, he asked programming questions. The first question was about string matching, and the second was about the Fibonacci series. He requested that I write code for both. After that, he asked me to explain binary search. Overall, the interview went well, and I answered all questions except for three.
I received the results on June 4.
