Hexaware Interview Experience For PGET (On-Campus) 2024

Hexaware visited our campus in April 2024 and multiple rounds were;

Online Assessment :

It consisted of 3 tests and all tests were elimination rounds.

Test 1 – Aptitude test:

The aptitude round was on a bit harder side as there was a time limitation (60 questions in 60 minutes) and the questions were also tricky and time-consuming. So you need to prepare well for this as accuracy and efficiency both are very important here. The test consisted of 20 ​quantitative aptitude questions, 20 logical reasoning questions and 20 verbal ability questions.

Test 2 – Technical Mcq:

This round consisted of technical MCQs including questions on different technical subjects and fundamentals of computer science and also too many pseudocodes. ​There were 30 questions which were supposed to be solved in 30 minutes.

Test 3 – Coding Round:

The coding round consisted of two problems, one easy and one medium and both were based on arrays. Both questions were supposed to be solved entirely to reach the next round of college.

Round 2: Online Communication Test

This round is also an elimination round. Communication Test was conducted on the Mettl platform on 5th April 2024. This round only checks our Reading, Listening, grammar, and general verbal ability. There were many sections like Read and Repeat, Listen and Repeat some audio clips that we had to listen to and speak to, and also some questions were asked from audio clips so we had to listen to it carefully and answer accordingly. There were also questions like the extempore type where we had to speak for 1 minute and the topics were ‘Your favourite weather’, ‘Opinion on smart work and hard work’, ‘Your favourite sport’ and at the end, there was some grammar related fill in the blanks questions. Most of the students got eliminated in this round. Only 60 students were selected for the Technical Interview from my college. After this round, I got an email regarding selecting for the next round.

Technical Interview conducted on 15 April 2024 :

After clearing the communication round, I got a call for the technical interview and it happened online on the superset platform. The interviewer asked the following questions :

Introduction:

• Project explanation with cross-questioning about the technology used and on algorithm used.
• Questions on OOPS like explaining polymorphism and inheritance
• About encapsulation
• Easy coding questions: Fibonacci series using recursion ​and remove duplicates from an array
• SQL: HAVING vs WHERE clause and primary vs foreign key

All these questions were asked in a technical interview i got positive feedback from the interviewer, and after 10 days I got mail I was shortlisted for the next round that is EC round from our college 55 Students were shortlisted for ec round

EC Interview: conducted on 25 April 2024

Introduction:

Project and cross-question on the project. some basic HR question challenges faced in the project. I got positive feedback from the interviewer about my interview, I cleared this round after that near about 48 students were shortlisted for the round

HR interview: 9th May 2024

Consisted of the following questions:

• Intro and project
• Long term goals
• Hobbies
• Who is your role model?
• About Bond and relocation.

Just 5 min of interview and the interviewer was also impressed.

After 15 days college sent the list of selected students and out of 48 students they only took 26 students, I was not selected even though my interview went well, dont know the reason for not selection, if they want to take fewer students they should eliminate earlier but after clearing all test and all interviews they eliminate in HR round that hurts,
