Hexaware Technologies Interview Experience(GET)-Off-campus(2022)

Last Updated : 28 May, 2024

I registered for the Hexaware Off Campus Drive and later received a confirmation email from the recruitment team. The email included the schedule for my first round. Here is the entire process I went through, all done virtually:

Round 1: Online Assessment

  • Total Questions: 78
  • Duration: 90 minutes
  • Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions
  • Difficulty Level: Moderate

The paper had two sections. The first section included questions on aptitude, verbal skills, critical thinking, and logical reasoning. The second section had questions related to core computer science subjects.

The results for this round were not announced immediately. After a few weeks, I received an email stating that I had cleared the first round. They also gave me the schedule for the second round, which was the Technical Interview.

Round 2: Technical Interview

  • Duration: 30 minutes
  • Mode: Online through Microsoft Teams

Note: Since the interview was on MS Teams, I joined a few minutes early to handle any technical issues. I recommend you do the same.

At the start, I was nervous, but the interviewer made me feel comfortable. Here are some questions from my interview:

  1. Tell me something about yourself.
  2. Have you done any internships?
  3. What projects have you done so far?
  4. Which tools did you use in your projects?
  5. What was your role in the project?
  6. What was the purpose of your project?
  7. Can you write a program to print the third-largest number? (This was a yes/no question).
  8. Write a program in C to print the first 5 numbers of the Fibonacci series.
  9. Write a program to print the second largest number in an array of 6 integers.

At the end of the interview, the interviewer asked if I had any questions for him. This concluded my second round. The same day, I received confirmation that I was shortlisted for the next round, the SpeechX and Writing Skill Test, which was scheduled for the next day.

Round 3: SpeechX and Writing Skill Test

This test had five parts:

Reading Test

  • Just a Minute (JAM): Speak on 3 topics for 1 minute each.
  • Grammar Test: 34 questions in 10 minutes
  • Comprehension Passage
  • Essay Writing: Write an essay on a given topic in not more than 200 words

If you have a good command of English, this round will be easy for you.

Round 4: Learning Agility Round

This is not an elimination round, so don't be nervous. This round is a Psychometric Test with 18 questions and a time limit of 25 minutes. At the end of the day, I received an email stating that I was shortlisted for the final round, the HR Interview.

Round 5: HR Interview

Mode: Online through Microsoft Teams

The interviewer checked if he was audible and then started the interview. Here are some questions from my HR interview:

  1. How would you describe the location of your hometown?
  2. Tell me something about your hobbies.
  3. Tell me something about your family background.
  4. Why do you want to join Hexaware?
  5. Why should we hire you?
  6. Are you ready to relocate?
  7. Are you comfortable with the job location we have given?
  8. Do you have any pending backlogs or education gaps?
  9. How can we control the current pandemic situation?

The interviewer did not immediately tell me if I was selected. He said he would get back to me shortly. The next day, I received an email stating that I was selected for the Graduate Engineer Trainee role and received my Letter of Intent.

All the best to everyone preparing for interviews!!!
