Target Position for This Interview: System Engineer

Overview of Interview Process:
Initial Screening
Duration: Approximately 2 hours
Method: Online (Remote Assessment)
Focus: Aptitude, logical reasoning, programming logic, and English proficiency
Key Questions: Quantitative aptitude problems Logical reasoning questions Pseudo-code and output-based programming questions Verbal ability and English grammar Essay writing to test communication and writing skills
Obstacles: Managing time across multiple sections. Clearing the minimum cutoff for each individual section
Result: I cleared all the section-wise cutoffs, and the results were announced by the end of the same day. I was shortlisted for the next round.
Technical Round
Duration: Approximately 15-20 minutes
Method: In-Person
Focus: Basic technical knowledge, project understanding, and HR-based questions Introduce yourself Explain your academic project(final semester) and why did you choose? What are your strengths and weaknesses? Tell me about your family Describe a situation where you managed your time effectively And also asked some of the questions from the resume. Basic HR Questions were asked.
Obstacles: Explaining technical concepts clearly by communicating properly Structuring answers confidently for HR-based questions
Result: I was not selected in Round 2.

Closing Note:
Although I did not qualify for the final round, the Infosys interview experience was a valuable learning opportunity. It helped me identify areas where I need to improve, especially in technical explanations and communication. This experience has motivated me to prepare better for future interviews.
