ION TRADING Interview Experience for Technical Analyst

Candidate Information:
I am a final year engineering undergraduate student studying computer science and engineering from IPU, Delhi.
Overview of Interview Process:
Initial Screening
1st, there was shortlisting based on 10,12th marks and cgpa, above 75%.
2nd, there was an aptitude test consisting of 95 MCQ questions to be completed in 120 minutes. Topics included: Linux, SQL, OS, DBMS, CN ,OOPS, Quant aptitude, Logical Aptitude,, Case study type questions, English RC and situational type questions. I got shortlisted for the interview.

Interview qns:
Explain red colour to a blind person,
2 puzzles:Monty Hall problem from gfg and another regarding a person had covid and met 4 persons in integer values of hrs, something of that sort.
OOPS: Polymorphism, OS:Deadlock , JDK,JRE,JVM , Hashmap and hashtable, is python an object oriented language, one SQL question based on update command
1 roleplay of a real work of a technical analyst wherein a client had an issue and had to come up with the solution.
i got rejected
Post-Interview Reflections:
I spoke too fast was the feedback from the interviewer
Could have done better in the roleplay round.
Interviewers were calm but not that lenient, even though most of my answers were right , if u fumbled in 1-2 sections they would reject.
Additional Information:
total 6 rounds are there, each round is an elimination round.
Closing Note:
Prepare core subjects well, they do look at ur skills section so prepare that well as well, puzzles is luck, prepare some case studies as well 1 or 2, All the best!!
