KIET Interview Experience For ERP

Last Updated : 23 Jul, 2025

At the time, I had been researching the club's history, its main goal, and how it has been the main factor in shaping the campus community. On the contrary, I, too, talked to the current members to find out about the club culture and the qualities they look for in their future members.

The Day of the Interview:

The Day of the Interview: It is the day when the candidates are called up for interviews and it is a crucial part of the process.

I finally got to the very close of the conference room, a small conference room in the student union building, which was a few minutes before the time of the interview. The air resembled a mix of the excitement and the anxiety of the other candidates who were about to take their turn while they stood around.

The Interview Process:

The panel of the interview comprised three club officers who are already serving in the club. They were friendly to me, I mean, and that was the reason I stopped being so nervous and tense. The interview began with a brief introduction about myself, followed by a series of questions: The interview kicked off with a short introduction of me, and after that, the questions started one by one:

What is the objective of the application to your club?

I told them about the club and how much I liked it and how hard I wanted to join its program. I mentioned the skills and the experience I have which are in line with the goals of the club.

Can I give you an instance of a time when you were being a team player?

I narrated a story about the class group project I was a major member of and played the leading role in the way of task coordination and deadline achievement, exemplifying my teamwork and communication skills.

What kind of thing can you contribute to the club that nobody else has already done?

I told the student body leader about my experience in the organization of community events and how I could apply that skill to the club's outreach activities.

What approach would you make to solve the problem of conflict or difference of opinion among the members of a team?

I once was the one who mediated a conflict between the team members by making them discuss the issue and realize that everybody has different opinions which led to a compromise.

They also asked some famous tricky which were also given on Gfg websites https://www.geeksforgeeks.org/gfg-academy/puzzle-the-burning-candles/#:~:text=45%20minutes%3A%20Candle%202%20%2B%20Candle%201%20time,to%2045%20minutes%20i.e.%2C%20%2830%20%2B%2015%29%20minutes.

Post-Interview Reflection:

The interview took almost 15 minutes to finish. I was able to illustrate that I was interested in the club and how my skills would be a benefit to the club. The panel members gave positive facial signals by nodding and smiling all through, which I thought was a positive sign.

The Outcome:

A few pieces of time later I got an email that congratulated me for qualifying this round and the last round was about project submission. Unfortunately, in the next round, I was unable to qualify but this experience was very much mesmerizing.
