KPIT Interview Experience: My Journey to Success
Hello everyone,
Iām excited to share my journey through the KPIT interview process, which included distinct phases. I'll walk you through each step, hoping to provide useful insights for those preparing for similar opportunities.
I applied through the Superset platform as an on-campus opportunity. Almost all students were eligible for the initial round, with some exceptions based on percentage criteria or other requirements. There were 500 students appearing for the exam.
The assessment consisted of four sections:
This section included 30 questions on topics like OS, CN, Embedded Systems, DBMS, and DSA. The difficulty level ranged from medium to hard, and we had 30 minutes to complete it.
Note: There was no time limit per question.
The topic given was *"Importance of Education,"* and we were required to write at least 180 words within 25 minutes.
Note : Typing accurately and pressing backspace multiple times may impact your evaluation.
This section included two coding questions: one easy and one medium, both focused on arrays. Only C and C++ were allowed as languages.
Important: After selecting a language and writing code, switching languages erased the existing code.
This round consisted of three mini-games:

Out of all the candidates, 128 were selected for the AI-based interview held the same day at 6:00 pm. This was KPIT's first AI-based interview, where no human interviewer was present. After 20 days, the final results were announced, with 48 students selected.
