I recently went through an interview process at Neeopla and wanted to share how it went. I cleared two rounds, and here’s my experience:
Round 1
- Getting Started: The first round was pretty balanced with some technical questions and an aptitude test:
- EDA Using Pandas: They gave me a dataset and asked me to do some basic exploratory data analysis (EDA) using Pandas. This involved cleaning the data, finding patterns, and drawing insights. I felt comfortable with this and managed to get through it smoothly.
- SQL Question: Next, they presented a medium-level SQL question. It was a bit tricky but manageable. I was able to solve it without much trouble.
- Aptitude Test: The last part of this round was an aptitude question, which was quite twisty. I made a mistake on this one, unfortunately.
After these, the interviewer asked me a few behavioral questions to get a sense of how I approach problems and work in a team. We ended the round on a positive note.
Round 2
The Deep Dive The second round was tougher and more focused on advanced technical skills:
- Advanced SQL: This round had more challenging SQL questions that needed a strong understanding of databases. I worked through these, and though they were tough, I managed to solve them.
- Complex EDA: They also gave me some higher-level EDA problems, which required deeper analysis. I solved two of them, and the interviewer seemed impressed.
Even though I didn’t make it through to the final stage, I’m glad I had the chance to go through this process. It was challenging but also a great learning experience that pushed me to improve.
