Optum Company Interview Experience For SDE (On-Campus)

I would like to share my interview experience with Optum company which has come to hire in our campus in the month of August 2022. They have two rounds of the selection process namely

1. Written test
2. Technical round

Round 1 - Written test:

This round was organized with a hacker-rank platform. They gave 2 coding questions related to data structures. I was able to solve one completely and the other with some test cases passed. There are other sections with MCQs related to operating systems and DBMS.

Round 2 - Technical interview:

I got interviewed for 45 minutes by a software developer from Optum.

Questions:

1. Self-introduction.
2. About my projects.
3. A live coding question which is counting the climbing steps for which the internal logic was using factorial logic.
4. Questions on cloud and AWS.
5. Questions on Operating systems and Python programming like difference between mutable and immutable objects.

Suggestions:

1. Solve one coding question and mcqs correctly.
2. Be confident and make things clear then speak in interview.
