Oracle visited our college to recruit for the Application Developer role, targeting the batch of 2025.
Eligibility Criteria:
- CGPA: 7.5 for boys, 7.0 for girls
- Branches: Computer Science, Electronics and Telecommunication, Electrical
A total of 90 students were shortlisted for the Online Assessment Test.
Online Assessment Details
- Date: 9 August 2024
- Platform: HackerRank
- Format: The assessment consisted of three parts:
- DSA Question: One data structures and algorithms question.
- Technical Questions: 20 questions covering Operating Systems, Database Management Systems, Computer Networks, and other computer science fundamentals.
- General Aptitude and Communication: 15 questions assessing general aptitude and communication skills.
Out of the 90 students, 20 were shortlisted for the interviews (10 boys and 10 girls).
Interview Round 1: Technical
- Date: 10 August 2024
- Duration: 30-40 minutes
- Questions:
- Linux-related questions
- What happens during the boot process of an operating system?
- Questions about AWS and Cloud Platforms
- Definitions of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
- Explanation of Docker
- Understanding of GitHub Actions
- Discussion of technologies mentioned in my resume
Outcome: 6 students were selected for Round 2, and I was not among them.
Interview Round 2: Managerial
- Duration: 45-50 minutes
- Outcome: 4 students were selected for the HR round, and all of them received final offers.
