Interview Process
The interview consisted of one technical round lasting between 30 to 40 minutes. My interview focused more on the digital role rather than a traditional software role, although some of my batchmates had interviews tailored specifically for software positions.
Interview Breakdown:
- Introduction: The interview began with my self-introduction, followed by a discussion about the role I was applying for and my preferences regarding software versus digital roles.
- Technical Questions:
- Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA):
- Question 1: Binary Search
- Question 2: Another question related to the traversal of an array.
- Digital Design Question:
- Scenario: There are two units, A and B, transmitting and receiving a continuous stream of strings. Unit B processes the received data and sends it further. A buffer is connected to the receiver.
- Task: Specify how the buffer must be designed, given that the input is a continuous stream of strings and the receiver has a size limit of 100. You need to outline the logic for the buffer's operation and the technology to be used. (Hint: use a counter instead of flags).
Verdict
Unfortunately, I was not selected for the position.
