Last Updated : 17 Dec, 2025

Hello Geeks!
This is Tamanna, an undergraduate pursuing B.E/BTech in CSE. I recently appeared for an interview at ServiceNow for the role of ASE Intern.

Overview of Interview Process:

Round 1:

  • So the journey begin with an online test of around 700 candidates that was majorly on JAVA. There were some MCQ questions based on logical reasoning, aptitude, programming language. Then there were 3 subjective questions on OOPs concept. Then 2 DSA questions on tree and sorting. Then there was an AI interview round. This round was for 90 minutes.
  • After all this around 50 candidates were shortlisted and my name was at 24th position.

Round 2:

  • Then comes the next round. This was also an online round in which we had 4 questions. 2 DSA questions (graph and bit masking), 1 prompt engineering question and 1 was SQL related. This round was for 120 minutes.
  • I completed 3 questions and advanced SQL question was half completed.
  • Out of 50 candidates, 6 candidates were shortlisted and I was an 2nd position.

Round 3:

  • This was the final round. It was a 1:1 interview.
  • The interviewer started with his introduction followed by mine. Then he started asked me questions based on my resume. The project work i carried out, then motivation behind them etc.
  • There was also a DSA question asked to be done on HackerRank in front of him. It was about HashMap, String.
  • My interview was concluded in 45 minutes.
  • Results were announced but i could not qualify this round.

Post-Interview Reflections:

Although i did not get selected but this interview taught me a lot of things. Many of us would have faced this, initially it hurts but we will come back stronger.

I hope you would have find it useful. All the Best!
