SSB Interview Experience

Interview (be it of any domain) has only one philosophy interview i.e is that thing, which we're looking for, inside you.

My Experience at (service selection board) SSB interview: This is not a successful journey but a journey full of failures and learning. The SSB comprises 5 days of rigorous testing and analysis of psychology.

The first day is screening day and the other 4 days are confirmatory. From the very 1st day I realized what discipline is in reality - 'just do what you have to do'. I also got to know how important it is to learn to be a good team player. Not only soft skills but competence and skills are equally important.

On the 5th day, the result came and I failed it. But was that really a failure? I would say a big NOO as I've learned and improved a lot after that. Because I knew where was I lacking.

Currently, I am pursuing BTech (CSE) and finding the meaning in my life through work

Here I'll try to include only technicalities which I personally observed in the process.

Is there a way to hack the interview?

The answer is definitely yes. Sun Tzu(a famous Chinese philosopher and military leader) once said: '

• Skills and competence in your field can save you from the worst.
• Be a good communicator: speak to the point and be manipulative. Divert the interviewer to your favorite area where you feel confident.
• The first impression is the long-lasting impression: Develop hobbies and a never give up attitude. Improve body language and try to be professional.

Way forward...

• Focus on living one's own life rather than following others. 'A fish can't climb a tree but outsmart everyone in the ocean'.
• Find your passion. If can't, then make what you're doing your passion.

Attitude is everything. It defines how we choose to live.
