I recently had the opportunity to interview with Tata Technologies for the Graduate Engineer Trainee position On Campus.
There were totally 4 rounds,(1 online Test+1 GD +2 (HR + Technical Round))
It had 4 sections:
The third round was a technical interview, where the interviewer, began by asking me to introduce myself and explain my project. My project, which I had developed using React, was a significant discussion point. They asked detailed questions about the project’s implementation and the challenges I faced.
Then he asked me questions related to DBMS and OS and some situation-based questions to evaluate my problem-solving and decision-making skills. The interviewer then shifted focus to Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA). The DSA segment included :
2 DSA Questions (Easy - Medium level)
Then interviewer continued with asking some essential algorithms and their applications .
The interview concluded with questions on Basic compiler design .
Round - 4 (HR Round )
The final round was the HR interview where I got to know more about me and my role in the company. It was a straightforward round focusing on my expectations and the company’s offerings and some HR questions .
I am pleased to share that I successfully cleared all rounds, including the HR round. This experience highlights the importance of a well-rounded technical understanding, effective communication, and a strong foundation in DSA for success in technical interviews.
