Position: Systems Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS)

Selection Process:

Online Application:

Applied through the campus placement portal, submitting my resume and academic transcripts.

Highlighted my technical skills, internships, and relevant coursework.

Online Assessments:

Completed TCS's National Qualifier Test (NQT), which included sections on quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, and programming concepts.

The test was challenging and required a strong understanding of basic concepts.

Technical Interview:

A 30-minute interview with a TCS engineer focused on my technical skills and projects. Discussed data structures, algorithms, and my final year project in detail.

Solved coding problems and explained my approach to system design questions.

HR Interview:

A 20-minute interview with the HR manager discussing my career goals, strengths, and weaknesses.

Emphasized my fit for TCS's work culture and my willingness to learn and grow within the company.

Outcome:

Received an offer letter the following week. This experience taught me the importance of preparation and clear communication in interviews.
