Tech Mahindra Interview Experience (On Campus) 2024 - 25

Tech Mahindra visited our campus for placements, offering exciting opportunities for students to join their dynamic team and contribute to innovative projects in technology and digital transformation.

Round 1: Aptitude Test and English Essay/Story (90 min)

This round consisted of multiple sections, including Grammar, Aptitude, and Picture Perception.

  • Grammar and Aptitude: Successfully completing these sections qualified me for the Picture Perception section.
  • Picture Perception: A picture was displayed on the screen, and I was required to describe my thoughts about it briefly.

Clearing this round made me eligible for the next test on the same day.

Round 2: Technical & Psychometric Test (90 min)

This round included coding questions, pseudocode, DSA concepts, and questions on fundamental subjects. The difficulty was moderate.

  • Psychometric Test: At the end of the technical test, a psychometric test was conducted, which was straightforward.

Platform: AMCAT/SHL
Tip: Aim to clear at least 90% of the test cases for both coding questions, as the problems range from easy to moderate difficulty.

Round 3: Conversational Test (30 min)

This round was a conversational test conducted on the AMCAT/SHL platform. It included seven sections focused on listening and answering, testing comprehension and response skills.

Round 4: Technical Interview (7 min)

In this round, I was asked to introduce myself and answer questions about my projects.

  1. What is the recent project you have worked on?
  2. What is the problem statement?
  3. What was your contribution to the group project?
  4. How flexible are you with switching between technologies?

Round 5: HR Interview (7-8 min)

The HR interview included questions about my background, adaptability, and group dynamics.

  1. Quick Introduction and Family Background
  2. Brief Overview of the Recent Project and Challenges Faced
  3. Are you open to relocating?
    • Answered that I had already relocated for studies, so I am open to relocating whenever needed. Mentioned that staying in the same city initially would be ideal, but I am flexible.
  4. Describe Yourself in a Group Setting
  5. What do you know about Tech Mahindra?
