Thoughtwroks conducts 6-10 rounds to select freshers as Software Engineers in their organization.
In this round, you can expect simple questions about you and your technical qualifications. Once you have been selected in this round, you will be moved to another round i.e. coding round. In the short coding round, they are more concerned about output. The time limit of the short coding round is 20 min. This round is for testing your speed of programming and is a major elimination round.
The students who clear the written round are called for this round. In this round, they give you a coding assignment. They check your OOPS skills and the logic you put in your code. If your code looks good to ThoughtWorkers, they will be called for an on-site interview process. In this round, they are concerned about the approach, how u name the variables, function, and oops approach.
In these, you can expect to code the problems based on data structures and they test your logic and algorithms. To clear this round you should be well prepared with data structures, algorithms, OOPS, DBMS, OS, and problem-designing skills and check how can you make good design your solution for the given problem. Better the your design skills, the higher the chances of clearing this round. They also ask questions about resumes. You may be asked puzzles in this round.
General discussion on some social issues like Farmerâs Suicide and the Uber Cab rape case. In this round, you need to express your views but you need to show some empathy as well.
In this round, you would be expected to be interviewed by top management. In this round, only general discussion happens. This is a scenario-based discussion. They will provide you with some situations that would have to you handle the situation in that case.
