ZS Associates Interview Experience For BTSA (On-Campus)

The interview process was divided into two Rounds:

Round 1: Online Assessment + Verbal Assessment

Online Assessment consists of MCQ questions currently I don’t recall the number of questions but it was divided into sections such as guesstimate, numerical ability, reasoning, and thinking ability. Verbal Assessment consists of speaking and writing skills.

Round 2: Technical Assessment and Interview

Technical Assessment mainly consists of MCQ questions related to SQL, DSA, and Coding Questions (The question was to find the minimum value of the stock to achieve the maximum profit) and there was one coding question which has to be coded in Python/Java and 2 SQL query which was of easy and medium level.

The interview lasted for 45 mins. It began with a self-introduction and related questions.

Following this, the interviewer asked situational questions, such as:

1. How you deal with conflicts that occur between you and your teammate.
2. What are your strategies to meet the deadlines?
3. Proceeding further the interviewer asked me a question related to my project.
4. What functionality I have implemented
5. What point I can improve more (always use the project which you are comfortable with).

Then the question came related to guesstimates he asked a guesstimate question I remember the question was like: how many petrol-pump needed to be established between Delhi to Mumbai high. Then he asked me basic OOPs like what do you understand by inheritance explain with real-life examples, why you use C++ more as a coding language. He asked about my code which I did in my technical round (I have mentioned the question above) and asked to optimize it more. At the end, he asked me for some Windows commands in SQL. Toward the end, I was allowed to ask questions, concluding the interview.

Overall, it was a great experience at ZS Associates.
