jQuery Mobile Pagecontainer beforeload Event

jQuery Mobile is a web-based technology used to make responsive content that can be accessed on all smartphones, tablets, and desktops.

In this article, we will be using the jQuery Mobile Pagecontainer beforeload event. This event is triggered before any load request is made.

Syntax: Initializing the Pagecontainer with the beforeload event.

Parameters: This event accepts two parameters that are illustrated below:

• event: This is the specified event.
• ui: This parameter accepts some values that are given below:
  • url: This is of string type and it is the absolute or relative URL that was passed into the load() method by the caller.
  • absUrl: This is of string type and it is the absolute version of the URL. If the URL was relative, it is resolved against the URL used to load the currently active page.
  • dataUrl: This is of string type and it is the filtered version of the absUrl that is going to be used while identifying the page and updating the browser location while the page is in the active mode.
  • toPage: This is of string type and it is a string that contains the URL that is being loaded.
  • prevPage: This is a jQuery collection object that contains the form page of the DOM element.
  • deferred: This is to be resolved or rejected upon completion of content load.
