jQuery Mobile is a web-based technology used to make responsive content that can be accessed on all smartphones, tablets, and desktops.
In this article, we will be using the jQuery Mobile Selectmenu preventFocusZoom option. This option is for disabling page zoom temporarily when a custom select is focused, which prevents iOS devices from zooming the page into the select. By default, iOS often zooms into form controls, and the behavior is often unnecessary and intrusive in mobile-optimized layouts.
Syntax:
Initializing the selectmenu with the preventFocusZoom option.
$( ".selector" ).selectmenu({
preventFocusZoom: true
});
Setting the preventFocusZoom option.
$( ".selector" ).selectmenu("option",
"preventFocusZoom", true);Getting the preventFocusZoom option.
var shadow = $( ".selector" ) .selectmenu( "option", "preventFocusZoom" );
