jQuery UI Selectmenu instance() Method

jQuery UI consists of GUI widgets, visual effects, and themes implemented using HTML, CSS, and jQuery. jQuery UI is great for building UI interfaces for the webpages. The jQuery UI selectmenu widget can provide us with select options. We can use this widget to make a form for different actions.

The jQuery UI Selectmenu instance() method is used to get the selectmenu instance object. If the selectmenu element does not have an associate element, then it returns undefined.

Syntax:

$( ".selector" ).selectmenu("instance");

Parameters: This method does not accept any parameters.

Return Value: This method returns the selectmenu instance object.
