Internal Place Value system is standard way of notation of numbers globally. In International place value system we assign the place value as ones, tens, hundred, thousand, ten thousand, hundred thousand, million, ten million, hundred million, billion, ten billion, hundred billion and so on. In this system we place comma(,) after every three digits from right hand side. Example of number in International Number System is given as 324,615,765 which is read as three hundred twenty four million six hundred fifteen thousand seven hundred sixty five.
It is simple to change 1 million into lakh conversion. A number in million to lakhs can be converted using the following formula:
1 million = 10 lakhs
In other words, a million is equivalent to 10 times lakhs. Therefore, it is obvious that a million is worth more than a lakh.
