I would like to especially share this experience, as indeed it has been profoundly enlightening to have had the chance to work as a frontend developer in VIPDigital hub organization for a period of 0.6 years (6 months) and therefore thoroughly immerse myself in web development I would be excited to talk about how I progressed through it by developing my skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
During my 6 months of experience as a frontend developer at VIPDigital Hub, I immersed myself in web development while honing my skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap. I learned to create web pages structured using semantic HTML, customizing them with CSS, and adding interactivity using JavaScript, using features like event listeners and animations. Bootstrap turned out to be an essential tool, allowing me to use its grid layout and pre-built features to create flexible and responsive programs, and significantly reduce my workload This experience not only expanded my productivity but also sparked my interest in frontend development, and inspired me to explore new web technologies for future projects.
All this takes me to the world of online resources, tutorials, and courses regarding web development. Moving further in, I find great opportunities for building impressive and interactive web experiences.
This is an abbreviation for Hypertext Markup Language.
HTML formed the backbone for each of the web pages I made. I learn to work with semantic tags and create structure on the web pages. It was a primer of sorts to understanding DOM. I started intuitively creating static web pages.
What made my design possible was CSS. I learned the work of selectors, properties, and values and gained knowledge about responsive design, media queries, and Flexbox. Styling elements and even pointed layouts became so tremendously possible.
JavaScript The feature that gives JavaScript the power to bring interactivity to my projects was offered. Variable states, functions, loops, event listeners, animations, and AJAX requests; all these I found out. Its support for client-side scripting was just overwhelming.
During this term of this position at VIPDigital hub, Bootstrap entered as the developing tool kit that was easy to use in Web development. I liked how it flexed and smoothed out my projects. It is pretty easy to make the grid system flexible and responsive across various devices using Bootstrap's grid system. The content gets organized in rows and columns within a very smooth design. There were quite several components provided in the library for buttons, modals, forms, and carousels that significantly reduced my workload and accelerated development.
Whenever I was in this role, Bootstrap always proved itself to be indispensable when developing web pages. In the overall spectrum, I just loved the flexibility and the way it streamlined my project. And here is how:
Some more Javascript plugins like bootstrap tooltips, boot strap popovers, and bootstrap modals which added flavor to my projects and helped me update my knowledge in web development.
Being a frontend developer at VIPDigital Hub for 6 months has not only expanded my technical skills but also instilled a new passion for frontend development. This made me eager to experiment more with web technologies and apply these skills in future projects. That’s all about me! .
