My Internship Experience at Microsoft – Learning, Growth & Amazing Work Culture

I had the opportunity to intern at Microsoft for 2 months at the Noida office, and it was one of the best learning experiences of my career journey.

Team & Work

I was part of the Stream Team , which handles video-related functionalities in the Microsoft Stream app. During my internship, I got exposure to real-world product development and learned how large-scale applications are built and maintained.

My work mainly involved understanding features, discussing implementation approaches, and contributing to tasks within the team while collaborating with experienced developers.

Technologies I Learned

During the internship, I worked with and learned:

• ReactJS
• TypeScript
• REST APIs
• Regex Expressions

This internship helped me strengthen both my development skills and understanding of frontend architecture.

Work Culture

One of the best parts of Microsoft was the work culture:

• Daily DSM (Daily Standup Meetings) where everyone discussed their progress and blockers
• Open discussions for every task before implementation
• Helpful mentors and teammates always ready to guide
• Very collaborative environment where no question felt too small to ask
• Great focus on learning along with delivery

Everyone was supportive, approachable, and encouraged continuous improvement.

Office Life & Facilities

Microsoft office had amazing facilities, which made the experience even better:

• Cab facility for interns

My office cab used to arrive at 8 AM at my PG, and I would return around 6 PM daily, making the commute very comfortable.

Overall, my Microsoft internship was an amazing journey filled with learning, growth, networking, and unforgettable memories. It gave me valuable industry exposure and motivated me even more in my tech career
