About the IAF MLA

The purpose of the IAF MLA is to provide users in economies with accreditation bodies that are IAF MLA signatories with the assurance that equivalent Certification and Validation/Verification Bodies in other economies operate to the same standard as those in their own economy.

Our primary function is to develop a single worldwide program of conformity assessment which reduces risk for businesses and their customers by assuring them that accredited certificates and validation and verification statements may be relied upon.
