Error description

• Error Message: JVMDUMP000E Dump option unrecognized:
  -Xdump:system:...file=%uid.MYJVM.%job.T%H%M%S
  when invoking Dump.systemDumpToFile("%uid.MYJVM.%job.T%H%M%S")
  .

Local fix

• Use other methods which do not specify a dataset name
  (Dump.systemDumpToFile(), Dump.SystemDump()) to trigger a system
  dump, and specify the -Xdump dsn sub-option on the command line,
  i.e. -Xdump:system:dsn="%uid.MYJVM.%job.T%H%M%S"
  

Problem summary

• The problem is caused when triggering a system dump by
  specifying the data set name using Dump.systemDumpToFile(String
  FileNamePattern)
  

Problem conclusion

• The Dump.systemDumpToFile(String fileNamePattern) has been
  updated to handle the specified fileNamePattern on z/OS
  .
  This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases:
   8 SR5 FP16 (8.0.5.16)
