Error description

• Error Message: * ** ASSERTION FAILED ** at
  MemorySubSpace.cpp:188: ((false && (reason >
  LOA_EXPAND_LAST_RESIZE_REASON)))
  .

Local fix

• The issue can be prevented by disabling LOA(Large Object Area)
  by adding -Xnoloa as JVM command line argument or it can be
  avoided by setting minimum heap size to 8MB(-Xms8m) or above
  

Problem summary

• The assertion is thrown when GC is trying to increase the LOA
  size smaller than minimum LOA size(64K)
  

Problem conclusion

• The GC code has been updated to maintain LOA size as 0, when
  calculated LOA size is smaller than 64K
  .
  This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases:
   8 SR5 FP21 (8.0.5.21)
  Except with z/OS where this APAR is fixed in:
   8 SR5 FP22 (8.0.5.22)
