Problem summary
The problem is caused by libffi incorrectly handling of certain arguments for 31-bit calling conventions. The problem occurs when the first argument to the native is a long, or if the called native uses a calling convention other than XPLINK, and the first argument is a float or double.
Problem conclusion
The JVM's libffi has been updated to correct the issue. . This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases: 8 SR5 FP41 (8.0.5.41) .
