Local fix
The issue can be worked around using the -Xshareclasses:none option to disable the shared classes cache.
Problem summary
The problem is caused when a wrong copy of the J9RomClass or the wrong number of ROMMethod count are used.
Problem conclusion
The JVM has been updated to ensure the correct copy of the J9ROMClass and the correct number of the ROMMethod count are used . This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases: 8 SR6 FP35 (8.0.6.35) . Contact your IBM Product's Service Team for these Service Refreshes and Fix Packs.
