  Since Java 8,SR7, IBMJCEPlus has been made the default provider.
  The memory growth was not observed when IBMJCE was the default
  provider with Java 8,sr6,Fp36.
  

Local fix

• Place IBMJCE ahead of IBMJCEPlus in java.security file.
  

Problem summary

• There is a memory growth observed during digest operations using
  IBMJCEPlus as the provider.
  

Problem conclusion

• The JVM has been updated to fix the memory growth when digest
  operations are performed with IBMJCEPlus as the provider. The
  native library releases JNI memory associated with a digest
