Local fix

Problem summary

  • A performance throughput regression of up to 10% was detected on
    some workloads. This problem is limited to x86 and does not
    impact arm, Z or power releases. The regression was caused by
    enhancements to the JVM for Project Panama (Vector API).
    This issue is present in the following releases:
     8 SR7 FP15 (8.0.7.15)
     8 SR7 FP16 (8.0.7.16)
    

Problem conclusion

  • The JVM has been updated to revert the offending changes.
