Local fix
the issue can be worked around with java option -Xjit:disableBIFSimplifier.
Problem summary
the problem happens when JIT compiling a Java method with an optimization which is not applicable to Java code.
Problem conclusion
JIT has been updated to make sure the optimization is disabled when compiling a Java method. . This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases: 7 R1 SR3 FP10 (7.1.3.10) 8 SR - (8.0.-.0) .
