  Reading a Java array element produces an incorrect value,
  especially when the element is overwritten with a constant
  immediately afterward.
  

Local fix

• This problem can be avoided by passing
  -Xjit:disableSequentialStoreSimplification.
  

Problem summary

• In some circumstances, an optimization could combine two stores
  into a single store even when doing so would change the result
  of intervening instructions.
  

Problem conclusion

• The optimization has been modified so that it will not combine
  pairs of stores that have such intervening instructions.
