SE76946: RPG REFACTOR > EXTRACT PROCEDURE DIALOG DOES NOT ENABLE CONTROLS FOR LIKE DEFINITION FOR RETURN VALUE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When editing ILE RPG source in Rational Developer for i, one can
  text select some RPG code and perform the Refactor > Extract
  Constant action. The second page of that dialog for defining a
  procedure return value may open with the â ˜Define likeâ ™ radio
  button selected; but the further â ˜Define likeâ ™ controls in a
  disabled un-usable state, when they should be enabled when
  â ˜Define likeâ ™ is selected.
  
  Workaround:
  Click the â ˜Define field typeâ ™ radio button, and then click
  back on the â ˜Define likeâ ™ button to toggle the state of the
  dialog subfields.
