The coolest thing about this starter from Silver/Gold is that his butt is on fire. Technically, it might be its back, but that’s not as much fun. As a starter, Cyndaquil likely sticks with you (if you’re smart) throughout the entirety of Silver/Gold. This flaming shrew-thing eventually evolves into Typhlosion and the name alone makes it quite the bad-ass. - KRISTINE
