This movie was great!.... when I saw it 4 years ago, as a Canadian-made film called 'The Last Casino'.That's Hollywood for ya - no more original ideas left. They had to steal all Canadian actors, now they're stealing our movies too. And some IMDB reviews are calling it 'fresh and original'. *sigh*

It's always very disappointing when a film that has potential for greatness throws all that potential out the window, and that is precisely what happens in 21, a film that could've been nail-biting and intense, perhaps even a successful coming-of-age tale, and ends up not working as any of those things. Seriously, this story had some great potential and I just loved the material. Indeed, I always find it more interesting when a movie would focus on smart people instead of your usual attractive people. At first, when watching this flick, it reminded me of ‘The Social Network’.
