βI wasnβt really sure what to expect from this flick but since it was Adrian Lyneβs directing debut and since I was always had a weak spot for Jodie Foster so, I was quite eager to check it out. To be honest, I was slightly worried with the opening scene which was rather sleazy and misguided. Fortunately, the rest of the movie turned out to be actually pretty good. Indeed, it was actually quite an interesting and realistic depiction of teenage girls, especially girls from the Valley, and I enjoyed it much more than βValley Girlβ which I just watched a couple of days ago. In fact, I have to admit that the characters in βValley Girlβ might have been actually more reaslitic but they were also so vapid and shallow and, in this movie, these girls were all so much more interesting aβ read more
