“I wasn’t really sure what to expect from this flick but, since I have a weak spot for Isla Fisher and since it was available on Disney+, I thought I might as well check it out. To be honest, I wasn’t really convinced by the concept which did sound terribly gimmicky. And, yet, to my surprise, I have to admit that the damned thing was not so bad after all. Eventually, it mostly (and probably only) had to do with Jillian Bell. I had seen her in the past, she was always playing the loud obnoxious rather dim-witted chubby friend, some kind of slightly less funny  and less successful version of Rebel Wilson, but I never thought she was really entertaining. "I love the fact that there's a movie like this that's willing to be this critical about fairy tale logic and the negative implications they put out to the world but since it's a Disney film it sort of feels like a big company being woke because that'll make them money at this point? Doesn't make me cry any less during a climactic speech about the concept of love being a social construct"
