" Notes: Even though 'The Mechanic' was watchable, it was rather surprising that they would make a sequel for this movie and, after watching the end-result, this choice was even more bewildering. Sure, it was maybe not the worst Statham vehicle I have seen so far but it was still rather weak though. At least, the action took place in many exotic locations (Brazil, Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, Australia) but that was pretty much the only thing interesting about this movie. βTo be honest, I wasn't expecting much from this flick but since I have a weak spot for Jason Statham and since it was available on Netflix, I thought I might as well check it out. First of all, even though 'The Mechanic' was watchable, it was rather surprising that they would make a sequel for this movie and, after watching the end-result, this choice was even more bewildering. Sure, it was maybe not the worst Statham vehicle I have seen so far but it was still rather weak though. " DVD- 1hr. 38min. First Viewing The only scene worth the price of admission in Mechanic: Resurrection is the one heavily promoted in the trailers; the many-storied pool kill. It's fun and interesting in a way the rest of the movie is not. In all honesty, the assassinations are really the only decent parts of the movie (not really a compliment). The rest of the time, it's a dull, unnecessary sequel to one of Statham's better films."
