T-Pain is the founder Faheem Rasheed Najm (born September 30, 1985), better known by his stage name T-Pain, is an American singer-songwriter, rapper, record producer, and actor. Currently signed with Young Money Entertainment, he began his career as a rapper in the group Nappy Headz.
In 2005, he released his debut album Rappa Ternt Sanga. Since the release of the album, T-Pain has produced numerous hits of his own and for other rappers and R&B singers. In 2008, he won a Grammy with rapper Kanye West for the single "Good Life". In 2010, he won another Grammy with Jamie Foxx for the single "Blame It".

T-Pain is the founder of the record label Nappy Boy Entertainment, established in 2005. Throughout his career as a singer, T-Pain has extensively used the Auto-Tune pitch correction effect.

Rappa Ternt Sanga is the debut album by Hip-Hop producer/singer-songwriter T-Pain, released in 2005. The title is a dialectal pronunciation of the phrase "rapper turned singer." It has sold over 800,000 copies worldwide. T-Pain had two US Billboard Top Ten hits with "I'm Sprung" and "I'm 'n Luv (Wit a Stripper)". Other tracks on the album include "I'm So High," a song about the use of recreational drugs. Rappa Ternt Sanga debuted at #40 on the Billboard 200 selling 47,000 copies in its first week, and fell fifty places to #91 the next week; over the following weeks it eventually climbed to #33. One of the leftover tracks is "You And Me", the original version of "I Can't Wait" by Akon. The whole album was made with GarageBand. An official remix to "Studio Love" was made featuring Lil Wayne, while an official remix to the song "Dance Floor" was made featuring Pitbull.

Epiphany is the second studio album from R&B singer-songwriter T-Pain. The first official single from the album was "Buy U a Drank (Shawty Snappin')".
Epiphany debuted at #1 on the U.S. Billboard 200 with about 171,126 copies sold in its first week and has sold 819,000 by May 2008 It was released on June 5, 2007, only slightly surpassing Rihanna's album, Good Girl Gone Bad, which was also released on June 5 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. This was T-Pain's first album to be released on his label, Nappy Boy Entertainment. The intro, "Tallahassee Love" featuring Jay Lyriq slightly samples 2Pac's hit song "California Love". "I Got It" and "Suicide" deal with the subject of HIV/AIDS and seem to be interconnected.

Three Ringz (styled Thr33 Ringz) is the third studio album by American R&B singer-songwriter-rapper T-Pain. It was released in the U.S. on November 11, 2008, debuting at number four on the Billboard 200 and at number 1 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart. The album received mixed to favorable reviews from music critics. The album was nominated for Best Contemporary R&B Album for the 52nd Grammy Awards, but lost to BeyoncΓ©'s I Am... Sasha Fierce.

Revolver (stylized as Revolve?) is the fourth studio album by American recording artist T-Pain, set to be released in 2011, through Nappy Boy Entertainment, Konvict Muzik, Jive Records and Zomba. Recording sessions for the album have taken place from 2009-2011. The album is set to be T-Pain's last release for fellow singer Akon's record label Konvict Muzik, as he has since agreed a deal to sign to Young Money Entertainment.
Work began on the album, originally titled UBER, during 2009, and the album was initially intended to be released during 2010. However, the album has suffered a series of delays; although T-Pain has claimed the album has been completed and mastered, he has rescheduled the album's release date, to reflect his displeasure at generally falling music sales. Despite this, however, he has since claimed that he will in fact release the album when his account on the social networking site Twitter reaches a million "followers". Also, although T-Pain initially denied that Jay-Z's song "D.O.A. (Death of Autotune)" would put him off from using Auto-Tune, the vocal pitch correcting technology he has frequently used throughout his previous work, on the album, he later confirmed that there would be a lesser presence of Auto-Tune on the album, and later revealed he had stopped using the technology permanently.
At present, although there is no definitive release date for the album, the album will reportedly have been released by the end of 2011. At the end of 2009 and throughout the early part of 2010, several singles were released from the album; however, the poor chart performance of these songs caused them to re-dubbed as promotional singles, and whether or not any of them will feature on the album is, as of yet, unclear. The album has also been preceded by the singles "Best Love Song", featuring Chris Brown, and "Booty Wurk (One Cheek At a Time)", featuring Joey Galaxy, which have peaked at number thirty-two and forty-four on the US Billboard Hot 100 respectively.
On September 8th, the third official single "5 O'clock", sampling a song by Lily Allen was released. The song features Wiz Khalifa.
