Cause you know the Toadies should be in the middle of the show and Saving Abel who has a top 5 single should be playing after local contest winner (a ska band that played covers a la Reel Big Fish). It was funny watching 3 really drunk dudes yell at the healthy portion of the crowd who left after Shinedown (2nd to last) before Puddle of Mudd. The guys had never seen POD before and were amazed how good they were (even when they were playing non-hits or new songs off the album). But who got left with the bar tab in Los Angeles? Actually, I think Avenged Sevenfold did...ANYWAY, we were amazed that people stayed at the club til 3 AM for the after party. I won $50 at the same routlette table Todd from 3 Doors Down signed. Good times.
Spent much of the weekend drunk though. Which is fine as long as I'm not buying.
Yeah, the fun kind of rock shows locally.
Thursday July 10th 10 High, Atlanta, GA Motley Crude 10 PM, 21+, $8
Saturday, July 12th Club 104, Cartersville, GA 10 PM, 18+, $5 probably with 3 shitty bands who have no discernable songs/talent |
