Possibly the best a game has ever done narrative gameplay synchronicity. Everything fits incredibly well together, the writing, the music, the characters, the gameplay, are all amazing and push each other higher. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts, but when all the parts are great themselves? That's when youre talking about a masterpiece. Admittedly, the game is very unconventional in a lot of ways and HEAVY on dialogue, so some people will be turned off right away, however if the game works for you it is an experience like no other.

The ultimate action game experience, the combat system is such a well executed easy to learn hard to master model that makes me wonder how anyone could balance a system so well without slipping up anywhere in the process. The story is engaging and extremely fun and fitting with the wild and chaotic gameplay, filled with fun characters and badass dialogue while also having emotional moments that hit you because of how much you cant help but love the characters, this game is amazing in all fronts and a must-play for anyone who considers themselves an action game fan.

Possibly the greatest game ever made. And undeniably in the top 5 action games. Bloodborne is as fun, exciting, memorable, dark and overall amazing as the Souls formula gets. Just as hard and rewarding as the legendary Dark Souls, while managing to be more fun and without a single second of the game being worse than the rest. It has as smooth combat that never takes control from you, a dark immersive world full of creative enemies and bosses to cut down and incredible lore story and characters, there is nothing more anyone could ask from an action game and this is why Bloodborne is a must-play masterpiece.

A failure on all fronts that tries to capture the first game's charm while not understanding what made it great at all. It manages to make the first game's combat unsatisfying and inconsistent, the great level design into big areas filled to the brim with enemies that feel like a slog to get through, the creative memorable clashes with the bosses into little speed-bumps that at best are a quick little fight and at worse are downright annoying and unfun. There is no semblance of enjoyment or fun up until the DLC, which in itself is very flawed but is drastically better in quality than the rest of the game. This is a sequel to one of the greatest games ever by people who didn't understand how to do it. And the result is catastrophic.

Arguably the best JRPG of all time, NieR: Automata delivers in anything it tries to do, exhilarating fun combat, likeable characters, gut-wrenching moments and plot twists, and deep Philosophical themes, all with one of the weirdest, best and most fitting soundtracks in any game. Absolutely a must play no matter what you care about, gameplay, story, characters, world, NieR: Automata has it all.

While the characters. lore and story are very engaging, every other aspect of the game is either unmemorable or bad. The main gameplay loop does as little as possible to differentiate itself from every other 3rd person shooter out there, and the open world elements feel forced in to get you to engage and spend more time with a game that hasn't gotten the polish and work that it would require to make that process fun, it could've been a great game if it was more ambitious and focused with what it wants, but as it stands it is nothing more than an unmemorable third person shooter with good writing.

One of the best open world and action experiences you can have. Combat is fun and satisfying beyond belief, the story is engaging and interesting. Aloy is a great likeable protagonist that you cant help but be engaged in her story, if you aren't already engaged by the incredible combat against huge robot dinosaurs. Absolutely a must play if you like rpgs or action games.

A sequel that expands and improves on everything the first one attempted. The story is engaging hard hitting memorable and enjoyable for every second, the world is darker and scarier. The characters are deep great likeable and hateable at the same time and the gameplay is more satisfying and fun while servicing the story perfectly. Props to Naughtydog for this incredible game!
