He was elected as the Reform UK MP for Clacton, Essex in the 2024 General Election.
Farage has exerted a strong influence on British politics, despite having never been elected to Parliament before now. The relative electoral success of UKIP has been credited with pressuring the then-Prime Minister David Cameron to commit to holding a referendum on EU membership in the Conservative Party's 2015 General Election manifesto.
Farage now presents a show on GB News and competed in the 2023 series of ITV's I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!
