Coin Collecting, Numismatic Education & Community

The American Numismatic Association (ANA) is the world’s largest nonprofit organization dedicated to coin collecting and the study of money. Since 1891, the ANA has helped collectors of all experience levels learn about coins, paper money, and numismatic history through educational programs, national events, publications, and online resources.

Whether you are new to coin collecting or an experienced numismatist, the ANA offers trusted resources including the Reading Room, The Numismatist magazine, the Edward C. Rochette Money Museum, the Dwight N. Manley Numismatic Library, and online collector education through the ANA eLearning Academy. The association also supports youth programs and hosts major numismatic events such as the National Money Show, World’s Fair of Money and annual Summer Seminar.
