The new BioFSharp package now bundles the old BioFSharp and BioFSharp.IO packages.
The whole package has undergone a major rework. it now contains the following modules:
- `BioFSharp` - the core data model e.g. BioItems, Sequences, Alignments, etc.
- `BioFSharp.FileFormats` - data models for and functions to work with biological file formats
- `BioFSharp.CLIArgs` - DSLs for commonly used bioinformatic CLI tools such as BLAST or ClustalO. These DSLs are designed to be extended in the `BioFSharp.BioContainers` package to run the tools in containerized form.
- `BioFSharp.IO` - Parsers and writers for the datatypes defined in `BioFSharp.FileFormats`
- `BioFSharp.CLITools` - functions to execute CLITools using the DSLs defined in `BioFSharp.CLIArgs`
