Indiko.Blocks.Logging.Serilog

Serilog-based logging block implementation for Indiko hosts.

Overview

This package bootstraps Serilog and configures sinks based on SerilogLoggingOptions.

Key Components

  • SerilogBlock
  • SerilogLoggingOptions
  • Sink option models:
    • FileOptions
    • AzureStorageOptions
    • AzureMSSQLDatabaseOptions

DI and Host Registration

SerilogBlock participates in:

  • ConfigureBuilder(...) → UseSerilog(...)
  • ConfigureServices(...) → AddLogging().AddSerilog()
  • Configure(...) → UseSerilogRequestLogging()

Runtime Behavior and Caveats

  • Console logging is part of base setup flow.
  • Sink activation depends on configured LoggingTypes.
  • MSSQL sink support model exists but currently has commented implementation path.
