OpenTelemetry tracing and metrics integration block for Indiko hosts.

Overview

This package configures OpenTelemetry instrumentation, exporters, and a custom metric adapter pipeline.

DI Registration Entry Point

OpenTelemetryBlock.ConfigureServices(...) registers OpenTelemetry tracing/metrics and exporter pipeline based on options.

Runtime Behavior and Caveats

  • Throws configuration error when OTLP exporter is enabled without endpoint.
  • Supports instrumentation for ASP.NET Core, HTTP client, runtime/process, and additional configured meters/sources.
  • Includes custom metric adapter discovery and registration flow.

Minimal Usage

// block manager loads IOpenTelemetryBlock and executes ConfigureServices
