Pass translations directly through from one language to another without performing any translation.

Passthrough is usefull if you have multiple site languages that are the same or slightly diffrent and handled in house.

the Passthrough connector will take the content from the source site and run it through the translation process without altering the text.

This is like a copy process except:

  • Process can be performed multiple times (not a one off copy)
  • Only translated content will be copied, so if you have language specific fields they are not overwritten.
  • Translated content is copied and links are updated as part of the process
  • Any relationships between content in diffrent languages is maintained.
