Basic Configuration

To actually use the logging and start Perigee, we need a basic appsettings.json file in the project.

1. Create the file (appsettings.json) in the root of the project with the code below. Be sure to set to "Copy Always" in the property window.

2. Drop in your license file, if you have one. Otherwise feel free to take full advantage of the trial period!

3. Add the correct usings to the top of the code window:

4. Run your first thread managed application, logging "Hello Perigee from FirstApp" every minute, on the 0 second mark using a CRON string
