This will eventually be a cross platform user interaction plugin but for now it's only supported on WindowsCommon (Universal Apps). Why another User Interaction plugin? Existing ones don't support Windows universal apps and have signatures that are difficult to implement on the unversal app platform. This library will also eventually support more advanced interactions like status and progress updates.

SolerSoft.MvvmCross

This is a base framework for building apps on MvvmCross. It adds helper classes like ViewModelBase that provide guidance and structure via overrides. It also adds logging and exception handling for ViewModel operations out of the box. Because dependencies on SolerSoft Logging and UserInteraction plugins, right now this only works on Windows Universal Apps.
